Barclay mobile Banking now allowing Screenshots

  julius44 19:42 27 Nov 2018

Hello and good evening to you. I have been using Barclays mobile banking for years on various android phone in the past. Currently I am using the oneplus 6 running Android 9.0 pie version. My phone is not rooted but unlocked to ALL networks, as I purchased this from oneplus direct. I have NEVER been able to take screenshots with the barclays mobile banking app, as a security message would always appear. Then yesterday i tried again with power button and volume down key, and it works 100%. Ive tried it a few times just now and still working, but my sister has samsung s8 and it does not work.
Not sure why it is working for me. Anyone else tried this yet?

I have just spoken to the Barclays Press Office about this. They are going to investigate and get back to me. I'll update you as soon as I know more.

It's not a good idea to take screenshots of sensitive information - by default they are stored on your phone.

I thought that was normal on iOS.
