Audio file

When I try to make an audio disk using Nero express and using MP3 music files as source files, the message I get is that there is not enough space on the disk.

What is the limit ,is it 80 min max ?
Is there a way around this problem?

the CDR has 80 minutes for an audio CD. That's about 80MB of mp3 files (128kB/sec sampling). If it's for a car CD player that can playback mp3 files, then you should make a data disc and it can take up to 700mb of mp3 files

I tried to make an Audio +Data cd using Nero express and still got the same error message as before ,i.e. not enough space on the disk !
Also I copied all the MP3 files to cd using explorer but my car's disk player says there is a disk error.

So I am now confused.

I agree with the last answer but I'll try to assist with the confusion.

You can write an audio disk from MP3s but in this case the files get bigger because CD audio id uncompressed. Therefore you can only get around 20 short tracks to a CD, just like an LP.

If the car player can read MP3 tracks then just record these as data and then you may be able to get 10 times as many on the CD !
