Xmas help for reviewers

  Wilham 11:48 16 Nov 2003

Recently I've strongly criticized reviewers for not questioning the makers' claims/specs of the computer equipment they're supposed to be looking at. However, I do recognise the periodicals where they publish have to try to stay in business. So I enjoy an innuendo between the lines, -such as "If you are in special need for a 300X digital zoom, then this is just the camera for you."
Hoping for more like this and in the festive spirit I invite forum members to put up suggestions to help reviewers tell us that what they're looking at is...to put it mildly... not very good.

Ye Gods and little fishes.....have you been on the Xmas brandy or what?

You should learn to read between the lines and also stick to the views of reviewers who specialise in a particular area - you will then quickly learn what should and what shouldn't be worthwhile.

But in any event a review is only a guide as it's impossible, in most cases, for a reviewer to cover every possible angle in the limited time available to him or her with a particular product.

So you want a list of reviews where reviewers have made sarcastic remarks then?
