Looking to buy a new PC for approx £1000.

I wonder if anyone here has bought from Pcoption as I am trying to decide whether to buy from Pcoption or Pcspecialist.

Pcoption seems cheaper, but Pcspecialist has more name recognition.

Any info on Pcoption I should I go with Pcspecialist?

Found a few PCoption related threads on the forum click here.

PCSpecialist threads click here.

For good value, you'll be hard-pressed to find better than Mesh click here. After the many complaints, I can understand why it's not everyone's first choice, but remember people mainly tend to post bad experiences, & for the large quatities they sell their failure rate could be similar to many others.

Also consider Cube247 click here. Couple of their 'gaming' PCs for just under £1000 - click here & click here.

Good luck with final choice & purchase. G

Thanks for the links Crossbow7.

My current PC is from Mesh and has worked fine for the past 3 years, although all the criticism of Mesh's aftersales service is a concern for me.
I am still considering Mesh, but I am also considering the other companies.
I excluded Dell as they only use Intel Cpus, and PCWorld are to expensive in comparison to Internet sellers. (Not there fault as I accept they pay rent and extra staff salaries).

I'm tipping towards PCSpecialist as I can find no real complaints about them, and I'm prepared to spend a little more for peace of mind.

Had my system from pc option for five days now, works like a dream and built and delivered within a week. They take you right through the order process tailoring just the right system for you, so I will certainly recommend them.

I would definatly reccomend pcoption.co.uk 100% they are good, communicative well priced, use good components, and my only comment would be that the order tracking isnt that informative, but just ask them where your order is either by email, phone or using the online messenger thing and they will happily oblige.
