Hi,
I'm about to join 21st century and buy my first PC. I want it be as future proof as possible. I am considering XP64 but have read about problems with drivers. Is anyone using it sucessfully? Especially with a Mesh PC.
I would like to buy/use games from the past few years and be able to use any new 64bit games in the future.
I would also use digital photo editing software and programs from PC Advisor Dvd's.

x-64 is ok but check for drivers before buying printer/scanner ect .Software runs as 32 bit {compatibilty mode} if not for 64bit cpu.And can sometimes be slower than normal 32bit cpu . I use Deer Park 0.1 brouser {mozilla 64bit} and avast anti-virus (also 64 bit } with no prob's for almost3 month's.

Make sure your 64bit PC has plenty of RAM. I have read 64bit is very RAM hungry.
