Hi Thanks for replies so far but do you think these are good value for money?

  GaT7 18:51 16 Jul 2008

Yes, I think they are.

What are you going to use the laptop for (more details the better) & what's your budget?

Do you have experience of XP & Vista? Do you have a preference between the two? G

Yes, My prefernce is for XP as it would work with all my present software w/o probs. I might go for (2)as it got a bigger H/d and bigger screen. My desktop is a P4 3.2 and has been very stable since I built it 4 yrs ago.
Budgetwise, I don't want to spend more than £240. Its free delivery as well with 12mths RTB.

If £240 is your limit, it'll be hard to find a better spec for the same price.

You didn't mention what you're going to use it for, but if it isn't for anything too 'heavy' or gaming, you should be OK.

Couple more sites to look at for refurbished laptops click here & click here.

"Its free delivery as well with 12mths RTB" - 4 months actually. G

P.S. Should you need it - cheapest, easiest way to increase speed in general is to add more RAM, & it's relatively inexpensive these days click here & click here - make sure to get the correct type & capacity for your laptop.
