hi. i'm relocating to Canada to work there semi-permanently. i heard most if not all laptop PC's have a voltage range of 110-240v so maybe all i need is an adaptor on that department.
now, what i want to ask is when it comes to durability, solid-state (or with most less-moving parts inside) and worldwide warranty & cover which one will you guys recommend me buying here?
p.s. im thinking of Toshiba, Asus, Acer, MSI and Dell. (but you guys can recommend me anything you think is good). my budget is £500-£600 only and i will mainly use it for the internet, download music and do basic Word documents.
I'm with the Brigadier - if you buy one there, the power adaptor will be the correct one with an appropriate plug AND, it is likely to be much easier to get help under warranty if the laptop goes wrong
