Which broadband provider?

  andy625 11:54 01 Feb 2005

I am currently trying to decide which broadband provider to sign up with. I've not used one before and have had conflicting advice as to which is best.

I want to use a laptop and ipaq pda on a wireless router, and need unlimited download. I've just read the postings on Tiscali, and they seem to have some fans. I was thinking of going with BT but can anyone recommend an alternative/better?

Any advice appreciated.

If you have Telewest local to you then I would suggest them as I've had broadband with them for a good trouble free 5 years now!

If you are looking at ADSL instead of cable broadband then perhaps, Demon, Zen would seem good choices?

Check out this place for ADSL.

Thanks for the info. We don't have telewest, but I'll check out the others you recommend.

NDO - click here

Also, the ISP I was with before NDO was Zen Internet, who at that time were also excellent, however I moved to NDO as they were a little cheaper.

Hope that helps.
