What to buy?

With a £1500 budget for a home PC, used for family stuff, games and multimedia. Any suggestions?

If I had £1500 to splash on a PC I'd probably go for an iMac, this one is under your budget click here but stretching to £1600 will get you a 27" screen and quad core CPU.

If you go for this you'll need to buy a windows licence and dual boot for games, but you'll not get a PC that looks as good for the money...

Do you need a monitor and operating system with that? If you don't have windows 7 already, it's worth the update.
If you need a monitor, what size do you want? If not, can you say what make & model of monitor you have currently?

As OTT said, do you need everything? ie monitor, keyboard etc..

I would say save some money, you don't need to spend £1500 on a pc for your needs.

Do you want bluray? What kind of games do you play?
