what should i be looking for in a webcam - aldi advertise one unnamed webcam with usb interface from this thursday for 9.99 - will it be good enough - please - jarani

I think it would be but I like Logitech products click here and one with a built in microphone as if you also use your speakers it save having a headset.

Another good buy is the D-Link NetEasy 350 Pro which is around £15 from click here

It has exactly the same specifications of a Creative VideoBlaster Plus webcam I had previously owned which had cost £49 at the time I bought it.

Any ideas please on quality. Does spending £150 improve the quality that much compared to a £30 webcam?

We have the Aldi one £9.99. 3 year warranty and sound included, use it for v/c on IM works fine for the money.

I wasn't sure if usb was 1.1 or 2 , the box did not specify - jarani
