Pirtaes go hi-tech...

There has been a 900% increase in the number of counterfeit goods entering the European market in the past year.

And the pirates are moving away from T-shirts and jeans to more high tech electronic items such as Playstations and SLR cameras.

Apparently the pirates were watched for several months before action was taken - TV news last night showed the cameras being destroyed.

And so they should be....

This is an industry that will never cease. When mega bucks to be made, then someone, somewhere, will always feed the market, irrespective of what any authorities will try to do.

So are these actual cameras or just dummy boxes?

How on earth do you make a fake PS2 or SLR camera?? Do they have working parts of just shells?

Think they are working copys, just they are made from crap components.
Same with the crappy lookalike washing powder they flog at the sunday markets.
