Virgin Media Telephone charges

To all Virgin media users

Are you aware that as from 01 April 2010, Virgin will be increasing your 'connection' charge to 10p and the call per minute charge to 6p.

I have voted with my feet and changed to a better service click here untill Virgion seea bit of sense.

You still pay your line rental to Virgin, but calls are a fraction of Virgin charges.

Yes Virginmedia has to be about the dearest telephone charges in the UK.
It's cheaper to phone Australia than phoning my daughter half a mile away.

With Virginmedia on 2 Mb broadband and fed up with their phone charges.
So if I get rid of the phone I still have to pay the same as they put the price of the broadband up to its original price.

1/ broadband+Phone free weekend calls £22

2/ Broadband without phone £20

Looking closely at o2 at the moment as they roll out there home phone and broadband deals.
