Virgin Broadband any good

Am looking into bb and was interested on any opinions on Virgin as an ISP. No 12 month contract seem a bonus to me

generally speaking, Vigin brands of services are very good value for money

Works fine for me, they supply a speedtouch 330 modem as well, and there isn't any catch that I'm aware of. I'm on the £14:99 option. I originally signed up at £15:99, and they emailed me the pricedrop and increase in download as a pleasant surprise.

As there is no contract, you only stand to lose £14:99 if you don't like it - I'd recommend giving it a go.

Virgin like Tesco, Sainsburys and other major players, uses major specialist companies to supply its services such as insurance, finance, Internet access etc - you really need to find out who provides its broadband service and work from there.

Thanks for that guys while I'm here any thoughts on Tiscali?

What about V21. £16.99 monthly unlimited. I have been with them for several years and have had no problem at all. Although you pay a setup fee it is monthly and you can cancel whenever you like. Good, friendly and helpful service from staff which are very easily contacted.

Thanks for all the replies I ended up going with tiscali's 512k 30gig cap service for £15.99 a month as most ISP's seem to have a 12month contract.

Will see how they do

Thanks all
