Can anyone recommend video editing softawre to me. I just need the software , i've already got a firewire card . I don't need anything fancy , just a starter sort of thing and then maybe work my way up to something a bit special .

Never heard of Zwei Stein but I just looked at the link and it looks really good.

Guess you realise the amount of HDD space you're going to need.

What are you planning to do with the video clips once they've been edited? Options include saving on HDD, writing to CD, writing to SVCD, DVD or you could output back to VHS tape.

Depending on how you intend outputting you are likely to need additional software.

If you have Windows XP then you have Movie Maker 2 which will introduce you to video editting. As a starter it may be all you want.
