USB TV boxes - which is better?

  GaT7 13:48 11 Apr 2008

Or, if anyone has any other suggestions for a similar price (max £20).

Main needs are:
- Viewing TV on PC
- Recording programs to PC
- Burning programs to DVD to watch in a standard DVD player (not DVD drive)

• KWorld DVBT USB2 Digital Box TV BOX click here (STO price £12.34)

• Kworld V-stream Xpert TV-PVR USB2 TV Tuner Box click here (STO price £10.56)

To get a good discount, I'll be buying through Scan/TodayOnly (STO) click here, & using free delivery (£20 or over click here).

Will need a 10m long coaxial cable to connect these to my roof antenna socket - will it be suitable? Ta, G

I've used a Twinhan Freeview PCI TV card for about four years which delivers excellent sound and pictures.

However, although I use the Twinhan BDA drivers, I don't use its software which is not especially good, preferring ShowShifter instead.

However, the software company that produced it went out of business a while back, but seem to be in action again:

Latest (the version I have) is:
