Transparency scanner

  MIKE 20:14 04 Mar 2004

I wonder if somebody would advice me about the purchase of a photo transparency scanner. I was thinking of a single purpose scanner ie. only for transparencies as I have a perfectly able scanner for normal work. I'm not looking to pay more than £200 for it.
Many thanks for any advice

I have a Nikon scanner that cost over £1000, and I see that most of the 'big name' companies that do dedicated transparency scanner charge a lot of money.

The Jessops' device above seems to be adequate for many people.

IN addition, you could do worse that buying a copy of Amateur Photogrpaher and scan the adverts from photo dealers to see if you can find a hi-quality second-hand device.

Jessops often seem to have stocks of them.
