Tiscali, (Lineone), e-mails subject to delay

The Tiscali service update states that e-mails are currently subject to a delay of 30 mins to 2 hours.

This is being investigated.

I can remember when a first class letter took 24 hours to be delivered.

GANDALF <|:-)>

You are showing your age. I can remember when there was only one class of post and, providing your recipient was not in the remote Scottish Isles, it arrived the following morning, (even when posted up to 5pm). All that for what is now 1 pence; Now, I`m showing my age.

when we sent letters by stagecoach, and it took two days to get one from London to York.

Actually that's a lie - I can't remember it at all, but it serves to underline GANDALF <|:-)>'s point that everything is relative. I suppose a temporary two hour delay on an email on a Friday isn't really very serious in the scheme of things. As for you anchor...one foot in the grave.

My Lineone/Tiscali stagecoach seems to be running on time (;o))

Sorry one foot in the grave.. had to be said!
