Nessie, i have had a CTX 15 inch tft monitor for a year that i highly recommend .It has a no dead pixels for 101 days warranty.

FUJI A203 camera excellent, it all depends what you want to use the camera for.

I cannot comment on a TFT monitor for you, but I will make a suggestion for a camera. I propose you look at the Minolta Dimage S414. It is a 4Mpixel camera with a 4x optical zoom lens. I have looked at independently taken sample pics, and they are really excellent. Price is £238 here, and will be price matched by Jessops photo stores. I know that its at the top end of your budget, but I think it will be worth it.
