A friend switching to TalkTalk received a letter stating her broadband was now live. Their website confirmed this, but she was unable to connect.
Their helpline reset the connection, still no joy. After a week, she contacted her previous ISP, BT, who told her she was still subscribed to them. They said it would take another 4 days to resolve the issue.
I thought these systems were interlinked to prevent this happening. Obviously I thought wrong. Still no connection after 2 weeks.
