Makes sense to me.

Am I the only one who's not over impressed with the quality of DVD's ?

Yes, there's an absence of noise on the picture, but the colour rendition grates after a while and reminds me of a cartoon. Lots of one colour with little sublety of shade. No doubt due to the bandwidth limitations.

gotta agree with oresome on this one that dvd's although superior in noise reduction it really seems quite blurry like watching an mpeg but better quality
