Scanner wanted (under £50 )

Any help would be appreciated in finding a new scanner.
Any recommendations and what to look for.
It's for the odd photo, document etc.

If you look at the canon 300f you can also view you photo negatives and it scans quite good.

you are not going to be working it hard, and aren't looking for cutting edge, and you wont be wanting to spend any more than necessary...?

The Cannon Lide 30 or Lide 50 models are very good and you may be able to find one in your price range.

Another point is that most of the cheap and cheerful scanners are rebadged products.

I also have the canon lide 30 got it from pc world special offer £20 off so £40 it is a very good scanner.
