Hi folks,

Long shot I know, but we were wondering if there were any UK users out there using satellite to access the internet.

We're doing a piece on non-conventional broadband access.

Thanks.

I signed up to everywherebroadband click here to register my interest , after reading PC Adisor`s News article "Satellite solutions for rural users" dated Wednesday, 16 October 2002.

As yet , nothing , Their site states that they will begin trials 1st of June , it was due to start earlier .

Living in a Rural location , and having tried to stir up the locals to sign up for The EEDA/demandbroadband competition , and only getting one response! It would seem that satellite access is my only option.

So i will keep my eyes on this thread , as i hope to have access in the future .
