Returning faulty goods

Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) when goods are deemed unfit for purpose it is the responsibility of the TRADER to retrieve the goods and refund. And that means GOODS as in total package not whatever bit they want to - they don't have an option in that its on the statute books.

If necessary involve your local trading standards - a phone call from them will normally make most companies move

I called the company today. They appear to have agreed to take all the goods back to inspect them on Wednesday 15th.

I wait to hear from them after that..

I'm taking bets on whether they'll agree that it's faulty and give me my money back....
