Replace/Upgrade Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family to add HDMI port to PC

I want to add a HDMI port to my computer and so need to buy a new video card.

My current one is Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family

I am asking for advice for which video card would best be compatible with my PC. I don't need a powerful one for gaming, it is just to connect my hdtv to my PC.

Below is my system information:

Can anyone please help? Let me know if you need anymore details.

Thanks Tom

I've checked your motherboard, and it has the necessary PCIe x16 slot, so you can fit any PCIe graphics card as long as your case has sufficient room for it (it looks big enough).

I would recommend buying an AMD HD 6450, like this one:-

click here could save a few more £ and get a 5450, but I would go for the more recent 6450 myself. These cards require very little power to run, and you should be alright. The card I linked to has a passive heatsink (rather than a cooling fan) and is silent.

Armchair did say that it has the necessary PCIe (ie Express) slot.
