i am currently looking to purchase a new laptop, can anyone out there point me in the direction of a manufacturer that does what it advertises, sells a reliable product with excellent after sales service if required.

We got our laptop from Aldi's... yep, that local store that sells al sorts of imported foods n stuff...

They have a nice range on computer goods at the moment and if you have a local store pop in and check out their Advent (hi-grade) laptops...

Not only are they cheap, reliable and come with almost everything you need (including laptop case). And in the box is a nice list of numbers incase you have a problem...

We only had the one problem which was sorted in 10 minutes after we called...

Staples do a nice range of Laptop's and their service is beyond reproach. also PC World have a bigger selection, starting at a low price. Both stores you can look, try, and take away the same day. I have found both these stores to offer excellent pre/post sales service. Regards. j.
