Although I've had some minor problems with Tiscali in recent weeks, overall its service has been good over the years (started with WorldOnline some seven or eight years ago).

You can now get unlimited 2MB BB and AnyTime phone calls for £19.99, which used to be the price for the 1MB speed.

By the way, Toucan is what is known as a virtual ISP and actually delivers its service through - yes - Tiscali...:-)

I'm generally very satisfied with my service (phone and broadband) from Tiscali. Prompt follow up from their support engineers when I had a broadband speed problem.

Not the cheapest, but possibly one of the most reliable. In almost 4 years I have had only one outrage.

Used Tiscali for years. Ultra reliable and I would not go to any other.

I would go with tiscali

Started off 8 months ago on 512K for £14.99 then couple of months later upgraded to 1mb and free phone calls to landlines anytime of the day for £19.99 and just a few days ago free upgrade to 2mb. At this rate 2007 i will have 8mb i hope!

Tiscali must have improved its customer service immeasurably since the dial-up era then; I found it to be consistently terrible and was glad to leave it behind.

Apart from normal communications by phone or e-mail, Tiscali's Forums include DialUp and Broadband Support sections where you can deal direct with the support and technical staff.
