I just wanted to say how delighted I am with the new pc I have just got from pcspecialist.co.uk. It was order on the 10th April with a lead time of 7-10 working days and it arrived yesterday. The spec was as follows:

Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe mobo with 2x1gb Ram
320gb Hard drive
16x dvd+/-RW and 52x CDRW/DVD
512mb 7900GTX
500W PSU and quiet cpu cooling
Win XP home
Wireless Network Card
Cost £1283.16 delivered

Good Points:
-Telephone calls answered immediately and email enquires with 5 hours. Your account gives a lot of detail as to the status of the order and status of any queries you have had.
-I got manuals for the mobo, GFX card (gigabyte), PSU, 7 in 1 card reader, and the wireless card, and one from pcspecialist outling the warrently etc.
-I also got driver disks for all the components, OEM windows disk and the following software:-
Nero 6, Powerdvd, some movie authoring s/w, Quake 4 and Serious Sam 2!
Build quality appears to be very good.

Bad Points:
Case looks crap, but then again it is tucked away under my desk and can't be seen.

Plays Battlefield 2 and oblivion wonderfully at a 1680 x 1050 resolution with all details on high.

I am all to happy to slate those companies that give awful service, but likewise I will praise those that I feel have done well.

I bought from them around christmas and have had no problems whatsoever.

Delivery was fast and they even send you a text message when they are posting it out just so you know when to expect your purchase.

Pc option are also very good.

Also they were happy to deliver the machine to my place of work, rather than the card holders registered address. This saved me a day's holiday.

Not exactly within their promised timescale, is it? More like six weeks.

I thought that after I'd pressed the "post" button.

Think I could have built it cheaper, and better for the money
