A PC For Music?

  Deceiver1 17:44 28 May 2010

I have an old Emachines 210 with an Intel Celeron Processor 2.30GHz and a 1.25GB of RAM (originally 256MG). I have installed a M-Audio Delta 66 soundcard and Hauppauge hybrid TV tuner in the PCI slots.

Recently I purchased Pro Tools M-Powered sequencer, but it basically runs really poorly on my system. The specs only claims 1GB is needed for the program though.

What PC (no monitor or speakers required) could I buy for £500, or a bit over at a push, to get Pro Tools to run great with my PCI cards? I would also like the computer to come with a decent dedicated graphics card for video editing.

Thanks in advance,

No replied - but I don't care - I went for a Chillblast Fusion Stronghold for a couple of hundred over what I wished to pay...
