Onspeed - faster internet without broadband

I would like to get broadband for my PC at home but cannot afford it. I have read about a software application called Onspeed which speeds up internet browsing and e-mails by means of some type of compression. It costs far less than broadband, just a couple of quid a month. Anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks

the website looks nice and professional. not some cheap effort.

if it does work, then it sounds too good to be true for £25 a year!!

i hope someone here has had experience with it, cus i'm very tempted!
