I've seen Norton System Works 2003 Professional advertised in the UK for around £51 including VAT.

Yet, in the States, you can get it through this offer:

"Professional Edition

Save $300

Includes: Norton AntiVirus, Norton Utilities, Norton CleanSweep, Norton Ghost, Norton GoBack by Roxio and WinFax Basic

Free Shipping and only $39.99"

Yet another rip off?

Too true!

I wasn't really suggesting, however, that anyone bothered to order it from the States; just making an observation on the difference between what we pay and our neighbours across the pond.

I just bought Norton Internet Security 2003 - was happy until I saw that our American cousins get a FREE BONUS! Norton Utilities™ 2002 for Windows® - its download only, but why don't we get this offer?

Is there a difference between the American and the UK/European editions?

If so is this because of differences between US and UK/European versions of Windows?

Furthermore why shouldn't we have the same version of Windows (XP) as the Americans?

You can get Norton Systemworks 2003 from ebay for £18 and 2002 version for £10.

I purchased the 2002 version foe £11 from Ebay. It has all the documentation and the seller has been selling them for ages so I assume they are Kosher/ Don't bother with 2003 as there are not that many differences.
