New laptop for mobile use in caravan

Friend is asking for advice on a new laptop for occasional use in her caravan holiday home. She can get mobile phone coverage on some, but not all, she can't get Orange for instance.

She wants 'pay as you go', would she get this on any laptop these days? I understand all it requires is a dongle in a USB port.

we travel around a lot in our camper van and have two pay as you go dongle use the "3" as main one but has poor coverage in a lot of area's but is very fast when near built up area's.

our other dongle is t-mobile has good coverage even in rural areas's but speed is dreadful even in good signal strenth.

a lot of campers use vodaphone too. With orange it seems they have poor coverage that is the feedback we got hen taking advice from campers.

So the make or model does not affect the choice of provider, any laptop with a USB port will do?

yes correct

She's going with t-mobile, as she knows her phone works there.
