new all in printer - canon pixma mp 500 ?

I want to get a good all in printer without paying too much and came up with the above - cost of inks is also important - any comments or advice please ? jarani

I've just got HP2575 all in one, currently on offer at £99. I was particularly attracted by the fact that you can buy high capacity HP ink cartridges in twin packs from outlets such as Dabs which bring the ink costs down to remanufactured levels

Quite apart from that, the quality and ease of copying, scanning and, above all, photo printing was top notch

I have had a Canon MP360 multifunction device for 2 years or so. I've only ever used compatable carts (99p from Cartex) and I've never had a problem with it.

I'd happily buy another Canon before an HP or Epson.
