Does it sort out house numbers? Is there a review anywhere to compare its specs with the new TomTom Nav 4 ?

I realise it's not in the same price bracket.

I have seen a revew of this kit in "the only plain english computer magazine" Bit of a rag I know, but they do seem to look at Aldi offers.
F.E.note: it would be nice to have PCA views on their kit occasionally, as it is very popular.

The Aldi offers would most likely have been and gone by the time PC Advisor would be able to acquire, review and then publish its findings.

for the lap top offer.. get chrimbo over and done with then maybe start to save!

It's value depends on whether you really have a use for it.

Well i bought it,and so far i'm really impressed with it.I got it mainly for the GPS function, but the PDA side of things seems to be very good aswell.Did anyone else manage to get hold of one?

  terryr48 23:44 13 Nov 2004

Yes, I bought one, convinced the wife it could be my christmas present-I think it is great-tested the GPS it took me right to my door!
Saw a similar one on the Medion website £399.99
only 1 years warranty so I have come to the conclusion this is good value.
