I got myself a craking Sanyo HDD 6gig player, now the missus wants an mp3 player......great! >:-/

She wants a smaller one I'm think 1gig flash, does it matter about the brand or manufacturer or just go with the best price?

Take a look here click here at the Creative Zen Nano Plus 1GB, it really is excellent; £78.86 at amazonUK (the above link).

Well worth the price, my gf has one, I just nick it for the gym.

The iRiver Flash players are really nice, with very good sound, but they are a bit more expensive than they should be.

is favourite at the moment.

That looks quite good, provided you don't need WMA support. MP3 and Atrac only.

Seen some reviews before about the bean, they seemed to like it. Good price too.

Still think the creative nano plus beats it, both compatabilitywise and price

Have and use a mini-disk, hate sonic stage software, personal opinion.

If you are tied to Sony's software, that would put me right off, partly because I like to have my own choice and partly because a few people have complained about it in the Helproom. There's one running now entitled "Sonicstage - why do you taunt me"!!

think I'll go with these, she now doesn't like the look of the bean.
