Multision - not keeping promised delivery date

I rang MV a couple of days ago to see on which day my new Solus 1030 express would be delivered (the promised 2 1/2 weeks is up @ the end of the week) - Their reply "we'll probably be in touch the middle of next week to organise a delivery date"

I realise (from personal bitter experience) that this is an industry wide common practice but I just wonder why we all accept it.

Surely when they are getting £1100 if my hard earned cash they could at least keep their promises.

Byb the way this is the 2nd problem with them I've had & I have not even got the PC yet
