Logitech Quickcam Messenger - Is it any good?

Since upgrading to MS Messenger 6, I have found that my elderly Creative Web Blaster camera is incompatable with the update. I have trawled through the manufacturers forums and it would seem that despite downloading latest drivers and updates, my camera is likely to be of no use when using Messenger.

So, I am thinking of buying a new camera and the Logitech Quickcam Messenger seems reasonably prices and spec'd - But is it any good?

At around £40 it is as much as I really want to pay and with a built in microphine it seems like a good tool for messenger as well as Net Meeting or simply for adding video to emails.

However, could my money be better spent?

Any feedback greatly received

Stu.
