Do I report the fault to the supplier, Asda, or to Lexmark ?

If Lexmark does anyone hav a link for the correct site ?

Via the Sales Of Goods Act, your first port of call should be Asda, if that is where you purchased the machine from, within the last twelve months. Asda have in some cases their own guarantees and money refund schemes. Getting technical information from Lexmark, can be a hit and miss affair. If you ask by email, you may get a sensible reasonably prompt reply,then on the other hand you may not.I had a problem with a Lexmark X5150,and their replies were both helpfull and totally irrelevant in some parts.In the end I found the PCA helproom forum the better bet for advice.

Spuds is correct, the responsibility lies firmly with Asda.

However sometimes, as in the case of Epson, it is quicker to contact the manufacturer direct.

I have no idea if this would apply to Lexmark. You could phone them on
