Hello Everyone, This is my first time here. I really need a help. I'm confused. I was looking to buy a budget laptop for my Graphics Designing work. So far, I choose two models. Asus R558UQ Core i5 varient and Lenovo Ideapad 310 In Asus R558UQ with Core i5, they claim that it comes with "NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with 2GB GDDR3 Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620", so could not understand this. Where as Lenovo comes with NVIDIA GeForce 920MX. I could not understand in Asus, what is integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. Every laptop has a onboard Graphics processor, other than dedicated ones right? Please Brief friends. Thanks

The integrated graphics facility is built in to the CPU chip by Intel. The built in facility is not usually particularly good so some laptops also have a discrete graphics chip in addition. In other words there are two graphics engines in the laptop.
