Laptop for £350 max

I am looking to buy a laptop for my girlfriend for Christmas. It will not need to do any major tricks — word processing, Internet etc.
I am looking to spend a maximum £350.
The deal of the Dell Inspiron 15 at the moment looks good: click here

Any other suggestions?

Sorry but your link doesn't work properly.

If it is the £349 one then it has a Celeron processor. For word processing and internet it would be ok but if she wanted to do more in the future then it could be limited. Don't forget that she would probably want Word and Excel on it which would push the cost up unless you have a licence ready for it.

Yeah it was the £349 one. I was quite keen to have a 4GB memory but I suppose it would be hard to get a Pentium processor with that and for under £350.

Open Office would be fine and free, you don't need word or excel click here

Thanks for that link Al94. Think I'll download that on to my own laptop in the meantime.

bill poster, that is a good price indeed for a 12" laptop & ~£100 cheaper than anywhere else for that particular model. G
