Labtech Warranty & Excellent Customer Service

I bought a Labtec Notebook optical mouse in January 2006 - neat mini mouse with a retractable USB cord. Ideal for use when traveling with my laptop and believe me it has seen good service.

Over the last few weeks it has failed to be recognised by the laptop and I e-mailed their technical support earlier this week. Subsequent e-mail exchanges confirmed the problem and warranty details. Every e-mail was answered promptly and politely, often within hours. Unfortunately the product is no longer available but they have offered me a brand new wireless replacement which is being shipped free of charge. (They actually offered me an alternative choice of replacement)

Now that`s what I call customer service! I shall be looking at Labtec products more frequently in future.

New mouse arrived within 48 hours and I`m impressed with it. Had to chuckle when they asked me to photograph the defective one, smash it with a hammer, take another photo and send copies back to them!
