Inkjet or laser printer? Please help

  Themaestro023 17:39 07 Dec 2005

Want to know if a laser printer can produce better photographs (on glossy paper)than an inkjet. As the prices for laser colour printers are coming down and hence, running costs due to the longevity of print runs are increasing, would it be worth my while buying a colour laser printer? I print loads of pics per day, but not to a professional standard cos am still using a Lexmark Z55 inkjet. What do you think?

Hello Themaestro023,
You might like to have a look at a previous thread on this subject.

I would not say that my laser was anywhere as good as my inkjets. Canon ip500 and i9950.

Makes very little difference on gloss or ordinary paper. Will not print on shiny photopaper.

This assumes that you are not going to pay an awful lot of money.

Regards Brian
