Does anyone know where I can find information on laptop reliability?

Apparently Computing Which? /Which?online have done articles and one make consistently comes out best. Does anyone know which it is?

Many laptops are rebadged models of manufacturers in such countries as Taiwan.

You need to know who made the laptop in the first place to properly follow up any reliability information available.

See, for instance:

Also scroll about a third of the way down in this link:

and read the postings.

Do you read the annual PC Pro Consumer Satisfaction surevy?

I'm not universally a fan of such things, but this one has always been particularly good for its very large number of responses and detailed questioning.

I think the results may go some way to answering your question.

surevy = survey...

Regarding Which? Online, if you sign up for its free trial period, you could probably find it in the archive.

Thanks a lot for the info it, has all been very useful.

The PC Pro survey was just what I was after, and I will try the free trial at Which? as well.
