I have a Toshiba laptop, with a TEAC 224e-b DVD drive.

I'd like to make this multiregion, would anyone have any links to a 'how to'?

Thanks!

I am sure you will get more sensible answers from the Helproom but as I am here it is an interesting one.
Have you actually tried to play a 'commercial' DVD and come unstuck?
Regional protocal were I thought only applied to SetTop players not PC players.

Yes, it's region 1 locked. Tried to play several movies, and although the DVD software allows me to select a differet region up to 4 times, I'd like to get it sorted for good.

to make any dvd drive multiregion download ANYDVD
THIS PROGRAM RUNS IN THE BACK GROUND AND ALLOWS
ANY REGION DVD TO BE PLAYED

I don't want to have to pay to make it region free, and as AnyDVD is $39, I'd rather find an alternative way, but thank you for that suggestion. I'll keep it in mind for the future.

Any more for any more? Please?

This one has been on several PC cover discs (I've never tried it though) click here

Thanks people, both of those last two links are for the same thing mostly, and will deffinately do the job.

That's great!
