Has anybody got these, or does anybody know of any lab tests on them as I have had a good search and found nowt.

I need this laptop for for when I travel only and the following: 3D Cad (not a lot) - Gaming (when at mates) and general use.

Can anyone help or suggest another around the same price (i dont want to spend any more than £1300

Hi Ricky,

Thanks for getting back to me, but I need to see lab tests really, and these 2 brands usually get pretty good results. I need to use it sometimes for Cad (which would make most computers squirm) and gaming while I travel (or at mates) so it needs to be very good on the 3D benchmark tests and also have agood running on normal application. Good battery would be a bonus (or i just buy another)

Please tell me about yours?

Don't know about lab test, but the Medion brand of PC's as recommended by (RickyBlade) are excellent machines. Many forum users Que up for hours to get their hands on one when they come on sale at "Aldie's". j.

Try RockDirect. Their Quaddra XT won the PCW editors choice. While it doesn't give the best ever sysmark and 3D mark, It does have strong battery performance.
