Good Service from Wanadoo

On Thursday night 4 May we had a bad electrical storm in our area and on Friday morning 5 May I turned on my PC to find that my USB modem appeared dead. Carried out what checks I could and was able to confim that all my USB ports were working properly and problem lay with the modem. On Friday evening I phoned Wanadoo's helpline (national call rate) explained the situation and was told that they would post me out a new modem which should arrive within 4 working days. New modem arrived this morning Wednesday 10 May and included with it were 2 new filters. Plugged all in, booted up and am now once again back on line at 2.2Mbps. Wanadoo receive the occasional slating in this forum but I have to say that the service I received was first class.

I agree. I wish I could say my experience was the same.
