Gateway Laptop from Tesco, should I stick to pizza

demise a few years ago. I would not have thought that Tesco would stock poor quality PCs especially after their venture into the software market. Based on this I would suggest that the laptop is a worthy consideration. The advice I would give you is first determine your budget and requirements. If the Tesco offering can satisfy your needs then consider them as an option. I believe most PCs and Laptops are very similar (spec for spec) and problems are usually confined to the quality of the vendor's after sales service. So the next question concerns Tesco's post sale care - something I know nothing about coz I have never returned anything to them.

The Tesco / Gateway machine seems to be similar spec but I'm unsure how the processors compare.

Also not heard about Gateway for a wee while.

i had a gateway desktop for over 8 years, never had any problems with it.
