Free and easy video editing programme?

Can anyone recommend the above. Don't need anything sophisticated. Just to cut segments of a dvd video for uploading to YouTube.

It is, IIRC, a later version than provided with XP.

Thanks for the response. I am using Vista Home Premium. Movie maker 2.1 is I think for XP only. I'll check further.

Thanks evryone? Will have a rummage thru'my Vista OS. I can't see Movie Mker 6.o only DVD maker. It appears only to be for burning DVDs.
