Epson C82 Printer

Has anybody any knowledge about this printer?
Apparently it has now been superceded by the C84, but there's not much information about either printers on the Epson website. I was wondering whether it was any good as a photo printer as well as a general printer, or do I need to look some other makes.

I have that father of these two - the C80 and am very happy with it.

Had it for some time now and have noticed in a rough and ready test that the pigment based inks seem to be much more light stable than the usual dye based inks used in most printers (comparison between C80 and Epson 760, both with Epson inks).

I have the Epson C82 and find it an excellent printer. Text is very crisp. I also have an Epson 925 Photo and there is a remarkable difference in photographs between the two printers. If you are into photos, don't go for the C82 and conversely, if you do text most of the time, don't go for the 925.

For text I use a Samsung ML1210 laser printer - less than £100 and very cheap to run.
