Anybody come accross DVDidle.com?

They are selling software which enables you to play any DVD region free.

Are they any good?

Is it legal?

Are you talking about a DVD-ROM or player?

Region free is freely available, particularly for the latter, and just needs a search on google or on this website's Search facility to find out how to do it.

But upgrading firmware on a DVD-ROM is a risky prospect and you could prematurely end the unit's life span.

Thinking of DVD rom on my PC.

There is a downloadable programme cost about $35 and I was wondering if it was something I could use given it seems harder to find players which do region free out of the box nowadays.

Neither of those links works for me?

I've keyed this in once before only for it to get lost in Cyberspace - the PCA website is either working normally at present or on a complete no go.

IF you hover your mouse over the blue link the URL is there.

However, if you key (copy and paste):

Region free DVD-ROM software + patches + upgrades

into google and use Search the Web, you should get the same as me i.e. numerous pages on the subject.

The first link had a lot of info on this.
