Before you tell me that the Pioneer A06/106 is not listed I will point out the A05/105 is misleadingly labelled as 'Sony'. The 106 should take all the same ones as the 105 for DVD-R. I use Verbatim. Haven't used any DVD+R yet.
In their weekly list (A4 paper sheets) Microdirect list DVD-R suitable for both Panasonic and Pioneer Discrite 2x (20 pack) £21-15 ; Discrite 4x (25 pack) £28-20 and Mirror 4x (25 pack) £25-85 all inc vat. Have purchased a pack of the latter but not tried them yet. The Verbatim from Maplin are excellent but rather pricey at £40 for a 25 pack of 2x.
jimv7's link is likely to be the best as the company details which media suits the 106 and which doesn't - it also offers perhaps the lowest prices for both the media and the rewriter itself on the net and is a very reliable outlet.
Dabs also sells 25 DVD-R disks for £15 but compatibility with various rewriters is unknown.
